Hello all!

First of all I want to apologize to :iconjpew2007: but I had to take down the fake friend journal entry I reposted from his page as I was getting hate mail over it. Frankly I think those people were taking the journal entry way too seriously but I don't really want there to be strife and bad blood on my deviant-art page so I felt as if I needed to take it down. Some people may use their page to champion social issues and encourage powerful emotions but that's not really what I'm trying to do here, not all the time anyway. I hope you understand buddy. I have a new commission piece coming in a few days that I think you'll enjoy. Consider it an apology (though kind of an empty one if I'm to be honest as it was already being made, regardless though I know you especially will love it).

Now I'm gonna talk about subjects that I've always wanted to chat about but for some reason or another never have.

In the Star Wars universe do you think that any of the separatist leaders and their planets ever took the time to step back and truly realize just how much they were played? Did any of them ever realize that their great fight for "freedom" was nothing more then a charade and that they were never going to succeed? That their "noble" leader Count Dooku was just using all of them as pawns to advance himself? Did any of them ever step back in later years and say "boy, we were the biggest idiots in the entire galaxy?"

While we are on the subject of Star Wars was the knowledge that Dooku was a Sith Lord a matter of public knowledge? If so then why wasn't it? Surely the sith and the time when they ran the galaxy are in the history books as one of the darkest times the galaxy ever endured in its history. Wouldn't the revelation that Dooku was a sith have revealed to the galaxy (Republic and Separatist) both what kind of man Dooku was AND that he was taking orders from a secret master? Wouldn't such a revelation have completely destroyed his credibility and power in the separatist senate? I realize that a great deal of what fueled Dooku's cause was the armies of large and dishonest corporations but he still needed the Separatist senate to give his cause political power, territory and million other things that his cause couldn't have survived without. Why keep Dooku's sith connection a secret when the truth of it would have most likely crippled his movement?

On that same line of thinking. If Maul (to those who don't know Darth Maul survived Phantom Menace and turned against Palpatine) and Mother Talzin really wanted to hurt Darth Sidious why didn't they simply tell the Jedi who he was? That would have destroyed everything he'd worked for. Much more so the any of their counter plots and secret attacks ever could have. With one sentence they could have destroyed Palpatine entirely without lifting a finger.

Let's get off Star Wars.

I have a vampire question. Every time I release a chapter of any of my vampire stories I get notes and emails sent to me scolding me for having guy on girl and girl on guy vampire situations. They scream at me that it should simply be girl on girl. What the hell for?! I don't seem any problem with a girl and a guy getting together. To clarify I don't have a problem with girl on girl either but I don't see why that has to be the only romantic situation characters in vampire stories find themselves in. No matter how many times people may scream at me for doing it I'm not going to change my writing style so that my stories feature only girl on girl vampire situations. To this end I've even considered commissioning some art of a few guys to go along with my Konoha's Lot story, just to add some balance. Anyone want to see what a vampire Naruto or Choji looks like?

Now I'm going to do something I've wanted to do for years and that's talk about some of the outcomes of some of my polls!

I'm very surprised that so many people voted for Gandalf in my Gandalf versus Smaug poll. Y'all did see the parts in "The Unexpected Journey" and "Desolation of Smaug" where Gandalf ran away from a group of orcs right? If Gandalf had the power to kill Smaug why would he need to run away from orcs?

I was surprised that in the Barragan versus Kuja poll that Barragan won. Y'all do know that Kuja blew up a whole planet on a whim don't ya?

I was always surprised that the Master beat out Mayor Wilkins in my poll. To me Wilkins always seemed to clearly be a much bigger threat then the master could have ever been. More resources, more minions, more arcane power and knowledge. To me it seems like the master was the dagger trying to stab you in the front while the mayor was the dagger trying to stab you in the back. Much more deadly.

I agree that Worf was much more awesome on Ds9 then he was on TNG.

Finally I agree that Luke's defeat of Vader should have several asterisks next to it as he wasn't fighting the Darth Vader everyone before him have had to face but a man who's dark side power, conviction and decisiveness had waned a great deal in the face of his son. Anyone else with Luke's power and level of training would have been squashed by Vader quite easily.

Thanks for listening

I only have two comments: Worf/Michael Dorn is awesome no matter where he is. With or without the Klingon makeup. I had a chance to meet him a couple of weeks ago, and I blew it. Makes me sad.

And: You're getting criticized for using heterosexual romances? That is totally freakin' hilarious! Of course there is nothing wrong with guy on girl or girl on guy vampire romances. A lot of people, even heteros, tend to think girl on girl is sexy. I don't have a problem with it, either, but I'm a heterosexual myself and think that's sexy too. You go right on posting those stories, and tell me where you're posting them, because I haven't seen them and I want to read them.
