Seriously, I do. I can’t find a damn thing. it took me forever just to figure out how to post a new journal. I’m not going to deactivate my account but I think I’m done with DA. It’s not really a loss though as I haven’t really been here for awhile. Was planning to come back soon but not with DA like this.
How do I even see if a followed artist has uploaded anything?

Rise of Skywalker SPOILERS

There are potential rise of Skywalker spoilers here so if you don’t want to risk being spoiled then don’t read my journal entry.
It appears that Disney wasn’t content with burning down the OT and the character assassination of Luke in TLJ as it appears that they’re gonna reveal that Palpatine is still alive in RISE. Now I know Palpatine being in RISE is old news but I was still under the impression (or blind hope) that he would be an evil ghost or some kind of psychic impression that Palpatine left behind. I wouldn’t have liked that but I could have accepted it. Nope. That’s not it. Palpatine survived Rotj. Anakins sacrifice was for nothing. The OT and the PT have all been gutted. All of the characters in them rendered moot all on the alter of Rey and ST. Rey is the chosen one now and not Anakin. Anakin story arc in Star Wars is pointless. He didn’t defeat the emperor and balance the force. Luke bringing his father back to the light was all for nothing. The ST made it moot. All of the struggles and character development of all the characters in the PT and OT are now meaningless. Nothing they did matters. The only stuff that matters now is Rey and Finn and Poe because they’re the ones who will actually bring down Palpatine. Episodes 1-6 are now pointless.

My SPOILER thoughts on Last Jedi

I posted this on IGN first. I can now fully share my thoughts on Last Jedi now that the movie is out and you can know why I was pissed...
I watched ROTJ again a few hours ago. What a great movie with a perfect ending. The galaxy is celebrating being liberated from the empire and the fact that's it's entering a new age of peace and a rebirth of the Republic. Han and Leia are holding each other in a loving embrace. Luke is truly happy and filled with a sense of purpose as he heads into the future. Finally, we the audience are left with a great sense of satisfaction knowing that Luke will bring back the Jedi order.
Fast forward to the ST.
The galaxy never knew really knew any peace from the Empire as its still around causing death and destruction. The New Republic is destroyed. Han and Leia never got any happy ending. They eventually seperated. Their son turned evil and Han turned his back on all his charActer growth. In the end he would be brutally murdered by his own beloved son. Luke accomplished nothing. He didn't bring back the Jedi. He never fulfilled Yoda's dying wish to pass on what he had learned. He didn't have any children or find love. All he did was hide in a cave for years feeling sorry for himself. Eventually hell die an anticlimactic death that barely accimplished anything. Leia did a bit better being a general in the ressistence but we can't ignore the fact that she was shunned out of the New Republic she helped bring about. She never became a Jedi either. Eventually she'll die offscreen without being able to save her son. I know that last one isn't Disney fault but it still sucks. The last person with Skywalker blood in them is Kylo Ren. A man who whines so much that he makes a teenage Anakin look stoic and composed by comparison. The ST has officually flushed my childhood heroes down the toilet. They all became miserable, unhappy failures. The only aspect of the original 6 movies the ST hasn't destroyed is Anakin fulfilling the prophecy and we have one more movie to go to give them ample opportunity to do that as well. I wonder if the prequel haters are aware that the only aspect of the original movies that means anything anymore is from the prequels? The ST wrecked IT. It has murdered our childhood heroes. The Last Jedi makes me sick.
....That said it's still better then the Emperor Reborn garbage from Legends.

Also, I'm sorry I've been away so long. Ongoing Health issuss and mourning my dog kind of made me bow out of the world for awhile. Hopefully I'll come back to the world soon.
